This is my example of Architecture. I think this is pretty decent  example of Architecture because  its a  part of the building that is very interesting. It shows the history of Mason High School, showing that Malcolm X went to the Mason High. It is architecture since it is part of the walls in the main hallway of the school. I could have got a better angle than just a straight forward picture of it.

This is my example of motion blur. As you can tell, I was moving when the picture was taken. I like it because you can see only one of me and its very clear looking, not stretched out and blurry. The background is a little blurry and could have been fixed if we had a tripod at the time, but we didn't. I didn't take this picture because when I was taking pictures the camera didn't have the option to change the shutter speed, so I borrowed this.

This is my example of reflection. I personally don't like it very much, because its not very clear, and the flash  looks bad  in the picture. I like the fact that you can see the outside of the school in the background, so that its no just a plain picture of us, and that the reflection looks red. If I could fix something about this, I would have turned of the flash and tried to make the reflection easier to see.

This is my student choice picture. It is a picture of Zach inside the showcase. I like the fact that it is angled, and no a straight forward shot. I tried to brighten this picture up in photoshop because you couldn't see, since I used no flash to avoid it reflecting in the light, but it looks a little grainy. I also did not notice the fact that you can see the classroom in the right corner until I went to edit the pictures. There is also a reflection in the glass, which I don't like. But I did think this was an interesting shot.

This is my example of framing. I thought it was a pretty cool point of view, since I was inside the showcase looking out at Zach walking through the hallway. I like the fact that its a different point of view than usual. Unfortunately, I did not back up far enough so the top and bottom of the picture is cut off, so you can not get the full effect. There is also a reflection on the glass which is bothersome. Zach could have been in a better pose, but its a decent picture overall.

This is my picture of a shadow. Its not a very good example of a shadow. Unfortunately this was the only  type of shadow I could get in the school. I honestly don't think this is a good picture, and is very boring and pointless. It fits the criteria of a shadow though, considering the fact there is a shadow of a desk. Now that I think about it, I could have used the auditorium for shadows, but its to late for that. So, there you go.

This my example of an emotional picture. As you can see clearly, Zach is feeling very happy and excited and sexy. This is a decent example of emotion. One thing I wish to change is that the picture is not rotated, which you can not do on this blog apparently. Another thing I would like to change is the fact that the lights at the top shine into and on top of Zach's face, which is very distracting. Other than that, I would say that this picture is very emotional.

This is my example of body language. It is obvious that Zach is trying to appear like he is tough, yet you can  clearly see the fact that he is very wimpy and afraid. I like the angle I got for the background, it looks qutie nice. The lights are a little bit too bright. I don't see much wrong with this picture though..

This is my example of a posed picture. He is posed to look as if he was a warrior of captain or something along those lines. I feel like the lighting could be better for this picture, although its not to bad, but Zach kind of blends in with the pictures behind him. This is obviously a posed picture.

This is my example of a candid photo, in which it is a picture of someone who is doing something naturally and is not posed. Zach was sitting on the bench so I took the picture of him, making it look like he is not posed. The shadow under his feet blend in with his pants, which isn't good and bothers me, but for the most part the picture is good.

This is my mystery picture. It is a picture of a painting in the science/woodshop/weight room hallway. I figure many people have seen it before, but you might not know what it is at first, yet you will recognize it. I think I took a good picture, and it was the right size, so you can see what it is, yet you don't know exactly. It is a little dark, but a good picture.

This is my silhouette picture. Its a pretty decent silhouette in my opinion. It was the only way I could get a silhouette to appear in the school, since no other light was bright and you couldn't get the angle of it to silhouette. If I was to retake the picture, I would make it look like you don't know where the hand is coming from, to make it a tad bit more interesting.

This is my example of a close up photo. I like it because it fits the criteria of being a close up picture. Its not to close so that you don't know what it is, but its not to far away either. I would have put on the flash if I was to take it again, so I didn't have to brighten it and give it a false looking color. Other than that, I think this is a good example of a close up picture.
